Collection: Lampshades

Initially made of paper, the shades primary function was to disperse the light equally through the room and protect the eyes from harsh glare. Under the reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901), lampshades took on a new aspect. Instead of simple practical tools, lampshades gained an aesthetic dimension.

Our bespoke lampshades are all handmade here in the UK with parchment paper, printed & embroidered fabric using designs from our fabric collections. We also use antique and contemporary textiles. Our lampshades are not mass produced and we are always changing the trims, giving the product a unique & bespoke element. We use a Duplex system using a shade carrier, aside from our candle clip shades.

  • Please note: All our lampshades are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are made to order. Please allow 7 to 10 days for despatch.
  • Postage to the U.K.is free of charge. For postal prices elsewhere in the world please contact before purchase.
